In the tradition of the theater, we expect that all dancers will graciously accept the part in which they are
cast. If you find that you (or your child) are unable to be in “The Nutcracker,” because of the schedule,
please contact one of the rehearsal directors.
Please Note:
This schedule goes from first rehearsal to final performance (any changes will be announced). Dancers will
be notified if they are in the Opening to Act II or the Apotheosis (Finale)
All Costume Fittings are scheduled for the weekend of October 4, and are mandatory above all else. If you
absolutely cannot attend, please inform your rehearsal director as soon as possible to make other
arrangements. The fittings will take place at Greeley Recreation Academy of Dance Arts or Greeley
Conservatory of Dance, depending on the day scheduled. Please be aware of the location when looking at
the schedule. Everyone, including Senior Company, should have tights with them at all fittings. No one will
need to wear make-up to fittings.
Dancers must come dressed in dance attire. Girls must wear leotard and tights, with ballet or pointe shoes.
Tight dance shorts or skirts are optional. Boys must wear black shorts, white shirt, and ballet shoes or
white socks. Please contact your rehearsal director with questions. If a dancer arrives in inappropriate
clothing, he/she will be asked to sit and watch rehearsal. This will count as one absence.
Because we have a small time frame in which to rehearse, we ask that you not be absent from any
rehearsals or costume fittings. ANY ABSENCES need to be cleared with your Rehearsal Director. Three
(3) absences are reason for dismissal.
Dancers who are out of town during Thanksgiving Weekend need to notify your Rehearsal Director. Please
consider this one of your absences.

Rehearsal Locations:
Please pay attention to the location of your rehearsal and costume fitting as you map out your times.
(GRADA) Greeley Recreation Academy of Dance Arts: 651 10th Ave. Parking is available in the Greeley
Recreation Center Parking lot, in the senior center lot (weekends only) or on the street. Enter through the
10th Avenue entrance to the Greeley Recreation Center. Take Stairs or elevator down to basement. Stay to
your right down the hall, the studio is the second to last entrance on the left.
(FCC) First Congregational Church of Greeley: 2101 16th St. Located between North Colorado Medical
Center and Heath Middle School, on 16th St. Parking is available in the church parking lot on the west side
of the building. Enter through the gymnasium door located on the west side of the building. The door will
be marked.
(UCCC) Union Colony Civic Center: Enter through the backstage door on 11th Avenue. Parking is available
in the Greeley Rec Center Parking Lot, in the Senior Center lot (weekends only) or on the street. DO NOT
PARK in the parking lot outside the Backstage Door, this is staff only parking and a fire lane. You may use
this parking lot for drop off and pick up only, do not leave your car unattended. All cast members must
sign in and out at all rehearsals and performances at this location. Children 12 and under must be signed in
and out by an adult.
(GCD) Greeley Conservatory of Dance: 813 8th Street, behind Chase bank. Parking available in the lot
behind Chase bank or on the street. Entrance is at South end of the parking lot.
